About Me

I am Guilin Hu, a PhD student in CSE at the University of Washington advised by Prof. Shyam Gollakota at the Mobile Intelligence Lab. Previously, I obtained my B.A in Computer Science from Cornell University, where I worked with Prof. Cheng Zhang at SciFi Lab.

I’m passionate about audio and speech technologies, building models that help computers truly understand sound and interact with humans naturally. Currently, I am interested in human auditory perception and manipulation, developing real-time, streaming audio models that extend our hearing capability and enable intelligent control of our acoustic environments.

I’m open for internship opportunities for Summer 2026.
